Full Metal Jacket Sensor manufacturer JOWA USA, Inc. introduces its revolutionary HastelloyTM clad level sensors. JOWA's new level sensors, the PGS, CGS, and LA-H Series, are HastelloyTM jacketed versions of the company's unique resistance-tape level sensor. This technology has been used successfully for decades, under the Metritape and Consilium name, with more than 25,000 installations throughout a wide spectrum of applications in the chemical processing, hydrocarbon processing, and industrial/municipal wastewater markets. Maximum Protection The LA-H Series required an intensive research and development effort, spanning several years and resulting in a unique and proprietary laser welding process. HastelloyTM C276 was eventually selected as the most protective jacket material due to the alloy's superior corrosion resistance. Extensive field-testing indicates that the rugged new LA-H sensors demonstrate superior performance in a much wider range of chemical applications than previous resistance-tape sensors. The HastelloyTM sensors can gauge nearly 800 chemical and petrochemical products and offer an increase temperature range, making them ideal for heated tanks and high temperature process environments. |
